Brodie maintains a general practice in civil and commercial litigation with an emphasis on appeals. He assists clients in resolving complex matters in an efficient and timely manner. Before joining Pape Chaudhury, Brodie clerked at the Supreme Court of Canada for the Honourable Justice Clément Gascon. Prior to this, he summered with a civil litigation boutique where he worked on complex commercial litigation files along with administrative law, employment law, defamation law and real estate law disputes. As an intern with a Cambodian human rights NGO, Brodie monitored a high profile criminal trial for procedural fairness violations. Brodie has received several academic awards including the Aimé Geoffrion Medal for second highest GPA upon graduation, The Elizabeth Carmichael Monk, Q.C., Property Law Prize, and the Daniel Mettarlin Memorial Scholarship for public interest advocacy. During his studies, Brodie was deeply involved in the community, serving as the Executive Editor of the McGill Journal of Sustainable Development Law and volunteering his time with several advocacy organizations. In 2018, he co-organized a national research and fundraising campaign involving every Canadian law faculty.
